I am so upset about my science grade! I’ve never gotten worse than a B- before! Do you think my grades are bad? I don’t know how to deal with it and my parents aren’t much help either….

What did you expect when half the time you get full marks and the rest of the time you get less than 50%?
Sounds to me like you got your wake-up call. If you want to get good grades you can’t have marks like 12/24 or 25/50. Pull your socks up, you are obviously capable of it, and well done to the teacher for not letting you get away with it.
